Dear Sir,

If Mr Alexr Pattison, or Mr Cowan from Paisley, or in general any other of those to whom I have sent copies on credit before, apply to you, you will give them what number they demand when they require it ; provided always that those who are non-subscribers shall pay one shilling more than subscribers.  --This I write to you when I am miserably fou, consequently it must be the sentiments of the heart-
